Hog Roast or Pulled Pork Perfection Packages

Below are the details and prices of the main hog roast and pulled pork packages we offer. All prices are based on a party of 100 guests with us managing all aspects of the preparation and service.  We serve the food to the guests 'buffet style' - or a 'family service' is also avalable (with all food placed on individual tables). If your party is bigger than this please contact us for a quote. Special rates for 250 plus guests.

We also offer a premium BBQ package, home made large pies and my home made sausages and mash.

D J Haggett hog roasts can provide a full day service which includes canapes, hog roast, high tea and evening food

If you need a little help sourcing a band, a bar, flowers, or indeed anything else, we can recommend people we work regularly with.

We cater for larger wedding parties and corporate events - we specialise in anything from 100  to 3000. Our service can be tailored to suit your requirements. Please contact us for more details.

    Bronze Package
    • Local free range Devon hog, spit roasted to perfection with lots of golden crackling.  This will feed 70 to 100 guests
    • Or pulled pork, slow roasted for hours with a BBQ or mild curry. sauce,  This will feed up to 100 guests
    • Or a selection of 5 large Devon joints of meat. Choose from beef, pork, chicken, turkey or gammon.  This will feed up to 100 guests
    • Or spit roasted chickens for 100 guests
    • An experienced butcher/chef to carve and serve buffet style, at a time to suit you (family service and table service are also available on the gold package and above). Includes:

    • A choice of any 3 of our delicious home made salads. For example:
    • Green leaf salad that includes: Radicchio, Oak leaf, Cos and Lolo Rosso, served with homemade honey and mustard dressing
    • Hot new season potatoes with melted herb butter
    • New potatoes and roasted red onions, bound with a creamy grain mustard mayonnaise
    • Asian style vegetable ribbon salad with sweet chilli and seasame dressing

    • This package really is the works! As well as having the entire Gold package, plus the staff to serve, it also includes:
    • A selection of any 3 locally made desserts below or a chocolate fountain with 8 different dips (for a £3 per guest supplement)
    • White chocolate and raspberry tart with a raspberry sauce 
    • Bramley apple pie with clotted cream
    • Lemon tart with a mixed berry compote
    • Hand made treacle tart with a twist of orange, with Devon pouring cream
    • A trio of dark, milk and white chocolate tart and a chocolate sauce.

There is a charge of 1.50p per mile, both ways from EX16 5PD.  This covers all vans and staff travelling. 

Please also note that we are fully insured and have a CE marking for our hog-roast machines and a CURRENT GAS SAFETY CERTIFICATE plus risk assessment.

    Grilled back bacon, champion burgers or my award winning jumbo sausages all cooked on a BBQ and served in locally made baps. With sauces, relish and napkings from £6.00 per guest


    Or a local hand made hot Devon pasty served to the guests @ £5.50 per guest 

    Or pulled pork slow roasted for hours with a tangy BBQ sauce rolls and condements   @ £6.50 per guest

     

    Or a grazing platter of mixed cured meats, flat breads, cheese, pate, olives green leaf salad, chutneys and pickles @ £7.95 per guest

    Traditional afternoon tea from £15.95 per guest, with white crockery, tea pots, plates, tea cups, milk jugs, suger bowl and cake stands are all included.

    If you would like our lovley Vintage crockery and cake stands for your afternoon tea we will not charge any extra for 2017 bookings

    There are no set rules about the content of a traditional afternoon tea menu, but it usually consists of sandwiches and a variety of sweet items

    • All of the following sandwiches are made with artesin breads
    • Cucumber with free range egg mayonnaise and watercress
    • Breast of coronation chicken
    • Smoked salmon and lemon cream cheese

    Traditional cream tea from £8.95 per guest.

    If you would like our lovley Vintage crockery and cake stands for your cream tea we will not charge any extra for 2017 bookings
