Hog Roast or full roasts Perfection Packages

Below are the details and prices of the main hog roast and full roast packages we offer. All prices are based on a party of 100 or more guests with us managing all aspects of the preparation and service.  We serve the food to the guests 'buffet style' - or a 'family service' is also avalable (with all food placed on individual tables). If your party is bigger than this please contact us for a quote. Special rates for 200 plus guests. These packages are a guide you can  mix and matched to suit your requirments. 

We also offer a premium BBQ package, whole lamb, pulled pork, home made large pies and my home made sausages and mash.

D J Haggett hog roasts can provide a full day service which includes canapes, hog roast, high tea and evening food.

If you need a little help sourcing a band, a bar, flowers, or indeed anything else, we can recommend people we work with regularly.

We are specialists in catering for larger wedding parties and corporate events - anything from 100 to 3000. Our service can be tailored to suit your requirements. Please contact us for more details.

    Bronze Package
    • Local free-range Devon hog, spit roasted to perfection with golden crackling.
    • Or: a full roast with roast potatoes and hot vegetables, beef, pork, chicken, £3 supplement 
    • Or: pulled pork or beef brisket, slow roasted for hours with a BBQ or mild curry or BBQ sauce

    • Hot new-season potatoes (V) (VG) (GF), with melted herb butter (V) (GF)
    • Potato salad: Roasted red onions and chives, bound with a creamy grain mustard mayonnaise (V) (GF) (with chorizo - optional)
    • Mixed bean salad: With yellow and cherry tomatoes, chopped cucumber, capers and chopped parsley (VG) (V) (GF) (with a Caesar dressing) (V) (GF)

    This package includes everything in the Bronze package, plus a selection of 2 luxury handmade desserts by a local French patisserie

    • Chocolate brownies, smothered with a rich Belgian chocolate and double cream fudge (V)
    • Banoffee pie: biscuit base with a rich toffee filling, layered bannana and topped generously with fresh cream (V)
    • Baked lemon curd cheesecake: a mix of lemon, with creamy, soft cheese makes this a great partnership. Finished with a lemon curd glaze (V)
    • Caramel fudge cheesecake: salted caramel base, a layer of cheese mixture topped with chocolate ganache and caramel (V)

    Diamond Package

    • Pouring the reception and toast drinks, plus corking the wines and placing on tables
    •  Evening food: A choice of one of the following hand made local hot pasties (these are very popular) Or bacon and sausage baps served with fresh buns, relish and chutney (please do suggest somthing else if required)

There is a charge of 1.25 per mile, both ways from EX16 8HF.  This covers all vans and staff travelling. 

We are fully insured and have a CE marking for our hog-roast machines and a CURRENT GAS SAFETY CERTIFICATE plus risk assessment.
