We are delighted to launch the new season for 2026 with our new-look website! You'll find all the same tried-and-trusted menus, with a few tweaks and new additions. We hope you like the format - easy to navigate, with each of our packages explained clearly, including fully transparent pricing.
Simply pick a package and add your choices from the menus. As always, nothing is set in stone and we can move things around to suit you. Feel free to suggest alternatives, although we work from a field kitchen, so please bear in mind our menus are designed for preparation, cooking and service ‘on the move’.
It’s no secret that the hospitality industry in the UK is under significant strain. The Foodservice Price Index (FPI) for December 2025 showed significant inflation to close the year, and we continue to contend with sustained cost inflation – not only in food, but also in energy and wages. From a butcher’s perspective, 2025 saw meat costs rise sharply, led by beef – in part because of reduced domestic supply. It all sounds rather gloomy, but we remain positive and have tried to keep prices affordable. We believe our pricing reflects excellent service and top-quality local produce. We are steadfastly in support of the British (and particularly the Westcountry) farming industry and are concerned by recent moves to undermine it and our national food security. Wherever possible, all our produce is locally sourced and prepared by us. Please support your local farmers, farm shops and small businesses! You won’t be disappointed.
